Das ist eine der Bands, die ich auch immer lieber mag. Auf dem neuen Album „April Rain“ fanden sich so einige inspirierende Lieder.
„Invidia“ stieß mich endlich mit der Nase darauf, wo eigentlich genau das der Konflikt zwischen meinen beiden Magierschwestern liegt.
Dieses Lied repräsentiert Alisa, Alenas Schwester. Sie sind Zwillinge, dennoch war Alena in der Magie nie so talentiert, wie Alisa. Trotzdem hat Alena viel mehr erreicht, als Alisa. Alena wird die Protagonistin einer langen Buchreihe und Alisa ihre ungewollte Gegenspielerin. Und warum? Der blanke Neid.
Besonders bezeichnend fand ich die Zeilen „I dont want to be like you … I want to be you“. Den gesamten text findet ihr weiter unten 🙂
